We support education leaders NEXERA to be a sponsor of the APLO program once again
24-02-2022On February 21, the inaugural meeting of the 13th edition of the Academy of Leadership of Education Leaders (APLO) took place. NEXERA is once again a partner of this project implemented by the Humanites Institute. With our commitment, three school principals will have the opportunity to take part in a unique annual project and develop their managerial and business competences.
APLO, the Academy of Leadership of Education Leaders, is a project created in 2011 by the Humanites Institute. This is the first Polish leadership development program in education, which has contributed to the initiation of a systemic improvement in the education sector. This innovative mentoring program for school principals is based on working with leading lecturers from the world of business, psychology, social innovation, sociology and pedagogy, educating leading business leaders. So far, over 600 head principals from all over Poland have completed it!
This year, once again, Paweł Biarda, Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs at NEXERA, participated in the inaugural meeting of the Academy.

Learning digital competences by students is now as important as learning writing and reading - it is a skill crucial for functioning in the modern world. The remote education experience has shown how important the role of school is in preparing children and young people to new digital challenges. It is therefore all the more important to develop the competences of principals and teachers so that they are able to meet the requirements of today's reality - says Paweł Biarda.
- NEXERA has been involved in projects aimed at providing equal opportunities and counteracting the digital exclusion of Poles from the beginning of its activity. That is why we are extremely proud of our many years of cooperation on such a socially important initiative - adds Paweł Biarda, Member of the Management Board of NEXERA.

The school is like its principal! We develop leadership in education so that the school, in cooperation with parents and its environment, can prepare children not only for the subsequent test, but above all, develop appropriate competences such as: cooperation, communication, perseverance, intra-steering, world- and people curiosity skills necessary for independent, responsible and happy life. Which is particularly important considering the scale of the mental health challenges of today's children and adolescents - said Zofia Dzik Zofia Dzik, President of the Management Board and Founder of the Humanites Institute and APLO. The Academy of Leadership of Education Leaders operates for a year and consists of thematic workshop sessions and individual cooperation with a designated mentor from the top-level business management. This year, NEXERA sponsors three school principals participating in the program. We are glad that we have the opportunity to support the leaders of education for the third time, incl. those from NEXERA Regions.
