NEXERA concludes subsequent agreements with local operators
31-07-2019NEXERA, the telecommunications operator providing wholesale access to the fibre-optic network, has established cooperation with six retail Internet access providers over the past four months.
In order to increase the range of their services, subsequent companies operating in three NEXERA regions – Kujawy with Pomerania and Mazovia, Świętokrzyskie and Łódzkie – will use the wholesale operator's network. In March this year, an agreement covering the provision of BSA services in the NEXERA network was signed by Geckonet Sp. z o.o. (from the town of Nowe) and Proneteus Network (located in Małogoszcz). In April, four new providers of Internet access and television services joined the group of users of the operator’s fibre-optic infrastructure. They are the companies Install Project Paweł Paruszewski from Osielsko, AVES Sp z o.o. from Gajewniki providing telecommunications solutions under the Księżyc brand, CONECT Marcin Barszcz from Pilczyca and LASER Paweł Równicki from Jędrzejów.
“This is a very positive and motivating signal for us – operators operating in areas within the borders of our Regions are rapidly expanding the group of our partners. Thanks to this, they gain access to new markets, which so far has been unattainable for them” – notes Paweł Biarda, Member of the NEXERA Management Board for Sales and Business Development. “The increasing number of operators also broadens the choice of products offered to the residents of our Regions. A wide and competitive retail offer from many operators is a distinctive feature of our network and comfort which is often not yet available to residents of large cities” – he adds.
By the year 2021, the NEXERA network will cover more than 530 thousand households, mainly in rural and suburban areas. Over 310 thousand of them will be connected to the network through the use of EU funds.
