Premiere of the #RegionyNEXERY2022 report!

24-06-2022

The official launch of the #RegionyNEXERY2022 report is behind us. In cooperation with GfK Polonia, we checked how the fast internet has impacted the everyday life of people living in the NEXERA Regions. This year's fourth edition of the report, based on the results of the survey, is available only in digital form, in line with the paperless approach. Full version of the document can be found at: regionynexery.pl

We have been conducting the #RegionyNEXERY report together with GfK since 2019. It is one of the most cross-sectional sources of knowledge about Polish internet users from areas where broadband access has so far been lacking or limited. This year, surveys were conducted in five target groups: residents, teachers, entrepreneurs and officials from NEXERA Regions and, for the first time in the history of the survey, on a representative, nationwide sample.

  • Since the beginning of our company, we have been studying digital trends and the impact of the internet on the everyday life of the inhabitants of the NEXERA Regions, because we want our services to be, on the one hand, best adapted to the users' needs and, on the other, to become an impulse for the development of small towns and villages. For the last four years, we have been observing the growing importance of the internet in the lives of the respondents. Undoubtedly, fast connections have a positive influence on our everyday life. This is also confirmed by the results of the latest #RegionyNEXERY report - says Jacek Wiśniewski, CEO of NEXERA.

Mobility, work, knowledge, but also competence development, improvements in stationary education, or easier contact with offices - are just some of the opportunities that universal and equal access to the digital world opens up. According to our survey, high-speed internet is an important factor influencing everyday life in Polish towns and villages and one of the most important development priorities indicated by residents.

The premiere of the #RegionyNEXERY2022 report took place on 22 June in the Ufficio Primo conference centre. The event was attended by members of the Board of NEXERA: Jacek Wiśniewski, Paweł Biarda, Piotr Wieczorkiewicz and Paweł Hordyński, as well as Hanna Kuźmierkiewicz from GfK research agency and Mariusz Pleban from InsightOut Lab. The meeting was conducted by Anna Butrym. During the conference we also celebrated the fifth birthday of the company. On this occasion, we had an opportunity to listen to Marek Józefiak, Chairman of NEXERA Supervisory Board, Nik Roessner, representing Infracapital and Sławomir Palczewski from Nokia. Apart from NEXERA representatives, the event was attended by our business partners, regulatory authorities and journalists. The conference ended with a networking part, during which participants could share their insights on the latest #RegionyNEXERY report.
