NEXERA is a member of the prestigious organization FTTH Council Europe
20-10-2021As the third Polish company, we have been accepted as members of the international organization FTTH Council Europe. The purpose of the industry association is to support and promote the efficient technological development of the continent and the integration of stakeholders involved in the development of fibre-optic infrastructure in Europe. Membership of one of the most prestigious industry organizations in the world will provide us with the opportunity to cooperate and exchange experiences with leading telecoms operating in the European and international arena.
“FTTH Council Europe is one of the most important industry associations in the world. Membership of such an elite group is a huge honour for us and it is a testimony to the fact that our company’s activities are noticed and appreciated not only in Poland but also internationally. We want to actively take advantage of the new opportunities that have opened up to us. We will share our knowledge about fibre-optic investments in CEE markets and good practices in cooperation with operators. We are convinced that our know-how can also be used by others. After all, we all aim for one common goal: To expand FTTH infrastructure in Europe,” says Jacek Wiśniewski, President of the Nexera Management Board.
The FFTH Council Europe is made up of over 150 companies and its members include NOKIA, HUAWEI and ING Bank. Nexera is the third national entity to join FTTH Council Europe. To date, only two Polish companies, Fiberhost and AVSystem, were members of the Council.
