Nexera has concluded a BSA agreement with Netia
01-06-2020Nexera concluded a BSA (Bitstream Access) agreement with Netia, a telecommunications operator belonging to the Polsat Group. The companies have defined the terms of cooperation and use of Nexera's fibre-optic infrastructure by both Netia and other entities belonging to the Polsat Group.
We are pleased to see Netia, one of the largest telecommunication companies in the Polish market, joining Nexera’s network. We are implementing an important undertaking whose goal is to provide equal opportunities in access to digital services. On the basis of the Operational Program Digital Poland we are building a fibre-optic access network in four regions of the country, in areas where people had no access to stable and high-speed Internet said Jacek Wiśniewski, President of the Nexera Management Board
Several retail operators already use Nexera’s fibre-optic network. We are working with leaders in the telecom market as well as smaller local entities to provide the inhabitants of the Nexera Regions with access to a wide range of digital solutions.
New companies are systematically added to the operators using Nexera’s network. This confirms that we are a reliable and important provider of external infrastructure. We rely on FTTH technology, which provides residents of villages and small towns stable access to the network. Thanks to our technology and cooperation with operators such as Netia, each home, business, school or institution in a given Region will have the opportunity to benefit from a fast and stable connection as well as digital television. We open new opportunities for local communities for a better, more interesting life, work and business adds Paweł Biarda, Member of the Nexera Management Board for Sales and Business Development.
