Nexera, the official patron of the competition, is looking for artists who will show how the development and use of modern technologies in the modern world can have a positive impact on environmental protection.
The task of the participants is to create an original animation in any technique for one of the six soundtracks prepared by Nexera and the other event partners. Competition works can be submitted by e-mail to 14 October: HERE
“This year, we have once again become the official partner of the competition and we have again prepared a special briefing for the participants. We are particularly close to the subject of new technologies and the internet. We believe that digital tools, such as fibre-optic internet supporting sustainable development, and also remote solutions not only facilitate our daily lives but also have a positive impact on the environment. Therefore, we especially invite residents of those Regions where we are developing our fibre-optic network - Świętokrzyskie, Łódzkie, Kujawy with Pomeranian and Mazowsze as well as Warmia and Mazury Regions. Modern technologies eliminate the distance barrier and give impetus to the development of smaller towns. Thanks to them, young people do not have to move to big cities to work in professions such as motion designer. We encourage all professional creators as well as those who are just taking the first steps in this area to enter the competition. We are convinced that a lot of surprising and inspiring works await to show us a completely different, fresh look at the very important topic of digitization and environmental protection”, said Paweł Biarda, Member of the Nexera Management Board.
The Timecode competition has been organized since 2017. The jury, consisting of experts from the arts world, marketing communication, advertising agencies and production studies, selects the five best works to enter the semi-final. Their authors will attend an online workshop with experienced industry specialists. The winner will be selected from among the finalists and will receive the Grand Prix. In addition, each of the partner brands, including Nexera, can choose the work that will be awarded a special honorarium. Last year, the special award was received by Kamili Szkolnik-Gołdyn for the animation based on Nexera’s brief.
