NEXERA is a partner of the Education Leadership Academy

10-03-2020

NEXERA became a partner of the 11th edition of the innovative program of the Leadership of Education Leadership Academy. Thanks to the company's commitment, the directors of four schools from small towns took part in an annual project that allowed them to acquire broad managerial competences. The inauguration of the next edition of the program took place on February 25 at the Central House of Technology in Warsaw.

The Education Leadership Academy has been operating since 2011. The program is guided by the idea of building and developing the competences of the most active education leaders who have the courage to go beyond generally-known education schemes and are able to engage others in their projects.

The program lasts a year and consists of six two-day thematic workshops and individual cooperation for 4-6 months with a designated mentor from top-level business management. Altogether, nearly 500 education leaders from all over Poland have benefited from the Academy so far, and 35 have been accepted by the 11th edition. NEXERA funds four school heads from the regions in which it operates to participate in the program. They were selected by the organizer in cooperation with the Marshal's Offices and NEXERA regional representatives.

*- The idea of the Education Leadership Academy is extremely close to us, which is why we decided to support this initiative. *- said Paweł Biarda, a member of the NEXERY Board for Sales and Business Development. - By bringing optical fibre to schools in the regions in which we operate, we give principals, teachers and students a powerful tool to achieve new educational goals. We can see the changes that are taking place thanks to this in schools and the involvement of directors. We want to support them in further development.

The event was also attended by business trainers and lecturers, the management of the organizer - the Humanites Institute, Israel's Vice Ambassador Tal Ben-Ari Yaalon and representatives of other program partners.
