Conclusion of the 13th edition of the Academy of Leadership of Educational Leaders (APLO)22-12-2022
On December 7, a ceremony was held at Central Point Warsaw to summarize the 13th edition of the Academy of Educational Leaders Leadership (APLO). Once again, we were a partner in this innovative program, supporting the development of leadership skills among principals and headmasters from schools across Poland. The project was created in 2011 by the Humanites Institute.
This is the third time we have been a partner in the Academy of Leadership of Educational Leaders program. To date, we have financed the participation of more than a dozen principals and headmasters, mainly from smaller towns, who have gained a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced business coaches and specialists in psychology, sociology, and social innovation. The Academy of Leadership for Educational Leaders is the first leadership development program in education in Poland, at a level that was up until now reserved for top business executives. The Academy is a combination of solid theoretical foundations, practical tools, and a unique working atmosphere. The creator of the project is Zofia Dzik, an impact investor, entrepreneur, and president of the Humanites Institute.
As the owner of Multi-Fibre Optic, we provide schools with access to a fibre optic network, thanks to which educational units gain the opportunity to connect to the OSE (National Educational Network). For the past 5 years, we have proudly participated in programs that connect people to technology, contribute to educational goals, and level the playing field for children and young people from small towns and rural areas compared to residents of larger cities.
- We are constantly observing the growing importance of the Internet in the lives of teachers and, consequently, increasing demands on the quality of connections in educational institutions. We believe that modern infrastructure is the backbone of a digital school. That's why we are building and providing our super-fast fibre-optic network to educational institutions, mainly in areas outside large urban centers, says Pawel Biarda, a member of NEXERA's board of directors. - In addition, as part of our cooperation in projects such as APLO, we are training leaders who will competently use the potential of the Internet and technology in education, bringing the school to a higher digital level, Pawel Biarda adds.
During the closing ceremony of this year's APLO, we listened to a lecture by Professor Jerzy Bralczyk, as well as sponsors of the program participants. Our company was represented by Justyna Chmielewska, ESG specialist, Paulina Sułek, marketing specialist, and Pawel Biarda, member of NEXERA's board of directors, who spoke during the speech about, among other things, how a school can effectively take advantage of new technologies.
In addition to NEXERA, partners of the current edition of the program, were Abris, KGHM Poland, WCIES, the Polish Business Roundtable, and Rzeczpospolita. The Humanites Institute, the organizer of the project, is a think&do tank that works to build social capital and Cohesive Leadership™. For more than a decade, it has supported building a high management culture, where the business achieves its goals and people find a sense of purpose.
